UptoLog Log Server
The UptoLog Log Server receives all logs through web services and saves data in the
UptoLog Database
.
The UptoLog Log Server is optimized to receive and save data quickly and send a response to the UptoLog Satellite.
The UptoLog Log Server and the UptoLog Database use a minimum of resources of the Windows server and database server on which they are installed. This optimization is crucial for the UptoLog Log Server to be able to handle a very large amount of logs during peak periods. Peak periods may occur whenever an enterprise system fails which can often result in consequential errors and cause peak periods of varying duration.
Redundant environment
It is imported that UptoLog Log Server is available at all time, to receive all the log data and save it to UptoLog Database. UptoLog Log Server is designed to operate in a redundant environment to reach a high availability factor.
If preferred UptoLog Log Server can operate in a non redundant environment.
